Woodchuck

How Much Wood Would a Woodchuck Chuck?

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?
A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could
If a woodchuck could chuck wood!

The woodchuck (aka groudhog) is a member of a group of large, ground-dwelling squirrels, called marmots. Woodchucks usually enter hibernation in late September. Woodchucks eat a variety of green vegetation. They also eat insects, and when found, the young of ground-nesting birds.
